It is that time of the year when the steamy South Florida weather with its unbearable humidity just makes me want to move anywhere North. I have always wanted to move to the West coast and keep an eye open for a reasonable priced house.

Now and then, I check out the listings for the Puget Sound, Portland and why not, San Francisco. Now, I do not know what parallel universe Northern California is in, but it seems the General laws of real estate and common sense do not apply there.

It is somewhat impossible to find anything under $400k. I mean anything, anywhere, around the bay area. It is hard to believe but see the listing below. This is not a joke or a "Ripley's believe it or not" fact. This a real listing I came across when looking for houses. This house was built in 1885! Hurry, it is still for sale.
